Have you noticed that I have yet to mention any more reviews on Glossybox? My last Glossybox was July’s edition and after receiving that, I had to stop my subscription. My honest thought on subscription boxes is that they are an ingenious way to reach out to consumers who normally wouldn’t want to commit to a purchase if they weren’t too sure about the product and/or brand. I was happy to be on Glossybox’s subcription service and thought $21 a month for luxury beauty brands was a good deal. I still do believe that, but at the moment it doesn’t seem to be worthwhile.
Until they work out their kinks with shipment duration and provide more brands for their boxes, I will be back. I am giving it the benefit of the doubt and say it will get better down the road since it’s a new launch in the USA.
